Terms of Use and Service
The rules for using this website and requesting our services.
Using this site
These terms apply to your use of this site and to our services. By requesting a quote or booking, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This site is provided by C4 Mobile Detailing LLC, doing business as C4 Auto Detailing (“we”).
Work orders come first
Before we start a job we confirm the work and the price with you, usually in a written quote or work order. If anything in it differs from this page, the work order controls. A quote request on this site is not a booking.
Quotes and estimates
Prices and packages on this site are starting points. Your final price depends on your vehicle’s size and condition and the products you choose, and is confirmed before work begins.
Appointments, deposits and cancellations
- Jobs over $1,000 require a deposit when you book. The deposit is usually 33% of the job and can vary by job. Your quote states the amount.
- Your deposit is applied to your final total.
- A deposit is valid for 90 days from the date you pay it.
- Deposits are not refundable.
- To cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice by calling us.
- If you cancel without calling, we may ask for a deposit before we put you back on the schedule.
Payment
We accept credit card, check and cash. Card payments are taken through Urable, our scheduling and payments system. Payment is due when the work is complete. Final payment is due before we release your vehicle, and unpaid balances may be handled as the law allows.
Workmanship promise and refunds
- If we do not complete the work you paid for, we will refund the part that was not completed.
- If you have a concern about completed work, tell us promptly, and in any case within 14 days of pickup for detailing services, or 30 days of pickup for paint protection film, window film and coating installs (email or text is fine). We will review it, and if we find a problem with our workmanship we will make it right in a reasonable way. That may mean redoing or adjusting the work, or refunding the affected part of the price, as we decide is appropriate.
- This does not cover damage or conditions after pickup, accidents, road debris, wear, neglect, washing or care, third-party work, or conditions that existed before we started, including paint, glass and surface condition. Problems with a product itself may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- These periods apply to our workmanship promise. They do not shorten any period the law gives you. This is our complete promise on workmanship. It does not create any other warranty, and it does not limit rights the law gives you.
Vehicle condition and drop-off
- When you drop off your vehicle, we document its condition, including existing damage, on video and in photos, and you sign a work order that includes a waiver.
- Please remove personal items and valuables before drop-off. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
- Please pick up your vehicle promptly once we tell you it is ready. We are not a storage facility. Vehicles left for an unreasonable time after we notify you may be subject to reasonable storage charges, as the law allows.
- Please inspect your vehicle at pickup and tell us right away about any concern. Concerns raised later may be harder to verify.
- We take reasonable care of your vehicle while it is with us, and we carry garagekeepers insurance, which covers customer vehicles while they are in our care. Our responsibility for damage that occurs while it is in our care is determined by your work order and applicable law.
Film, tint and coating notes
- Paint protection film, vinyl and coatings can lift or damage repainted, aftermarket or already damaged paint. Results depend on the condition of the surface.
- Before film, coating or tint, we note and photograph existing damage, chips and repaints, and we tell you if film could lift aftermarket or repainted paint.
- Ceramic coatings and film need curing time and proper care. We give you written aftercare instructions, covering cure time and how to wash. Following them may be required for the manufacturer’s warranty.
- We will go over Virginia’s tint limits with you when you choose your film. Final light transmittance also depends on the glass already on your vehicle, and laws change. We install tint within Virginia’s legal limits. You are responsible for choosing a tint that complies with the laws of every state where your vehicle is registered or driven, and we are not responsible for citations, inspection failures or removal costs from use outside those limits.
Where we are
Our shop is at 130-2 Imboden Drive, Winchester, VA 22603, and all of our work is done there. Customers come to us from northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley and nearby parts of West Virginia and Maryland.
Warranties
Paint protection film, window film and coatings carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Terms differ by product and usually depend on a professional install and proper care. Ask us for the manufacturer’s warranty terms for your product. Our workmanship promise is stated above. Where the law gives you rights we cannot limit, those rights stay in place.
Brands and trademarks
STEK, LLumar, Feynlab and other brand names and logos are trademarks of their owners. We name them to describe the products we install. C4 Auto Detailing is a certified installer for STEK and LLumar. C4 Auto Detailing is an independent business and is not owned by or affiliated with these brands unless we say so. Brand names and logos appear on this site only to identify the products we use and install. They are used under their owners’ rights, no endorsement or sponsorship is implied, and we will remove any name or logo promptly if its owner asks.
Photos and content
Photos of our work may show customers’ vehicles. We blur license plates and aim not to show people or other identifying details. If you want a photo of your vehicle removed, contact us and we will remove it promptly. Content on this site belongs to C4 Auto Detailing or its licensors. Please do not copy it without permission.
Links to other sites
We link to manufacturer and social media sites for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Limits on our liability for this website
To the fullest extent the law allows, this website is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. This does not limit our responsibility for our services as described in your work order, and does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Winchester or Frederick County, Virginia, except where the law gives you the right to go elsewhere. Please contact us first. Most problems get solved with one conversation.
